When you travel do you like to find new favorite places that exclusive to the area and
different than your home town. Given a choice I prefer the local “mom & pop” restaurants to
chains whether I am at home or traveling. Traveling is a time to experiment, try new things
and get a flair for the local culture. Traveling and going out to dinner should be fun and
exciting not predictable and uninspiring.
I delight in old buildings that have their own distinctive style and charm and the atmosphere
is better when old building have been converted into local restaurants, art galleries, or new
unique shops found only in that town.
Strips centers are uninspiring. Modular concrete walls, glass and aluminum in a strip center
looks plain and ordinary and after a few years they age badly and look run down.
Sometimes their only attempt at style in a strip center is an awning placed above the doors
along the building. I have never wanted to stop the car to take a photograph of a strip
center? If you have then this site is not for you.
If you are looking for excitement and a favorite place exclusive to that
region when you get in your car then exit off the interstates and a whole
new country awaits you.
